There are a host of advantages working directly with cultivators, especially when they are pioneering the craft of bringing hemp to market in a soil-regenerating manner.
We are proud to support three family farms who utilize regenerative agriculture practices for the well-being of all - including humans, horticulture, and plants! Their hemp is grown from sunlight, irrigated and drained by natural springs, and fed fertilizer from their own animals. Their plants all start from seed in their greenhouse, which provides total quality control during the entire grow cycle.
Our farms also grow a diversity of produce and medicinal herbs, including berries, cucumbers, tomatoes, kale, corn, yarrow, mullein, astragalus, ashwagandha, elecampane, skull cap, mint, chamomile, calendula, sage, lemon balm, lemon grass, echinacea, bergamot, and elderberry. Goats graze the pasture and rebuild soil, while hens lay eggs to feed the family and neighbors. FLORA + BAST is setting the standard for quality cannabis!
